Espresso Drive-Thru to close after 20 years

If you were a drive-thru customer, or if you drive down Robie St. between Young St. and Almon St. on your daily commute, you will have noticed that there have been some huge changes in that area. The old Piercey's building behind our turquoise drive-thru building has been torn down – in fact it was torn down in a record few days.

We had known for the passed two years that a day would come when this development would begin, and, subsequently, our drive-thru location would be forced to close. This day came on November 6, 2015.

Here's a letter we posted on social media to inform our customers of this change:

Dear valued customers,
We regret to inform you that the Steve-O-Reno’s drive thru (2854 Robie St) will close permanently on November 6, 2015 due to planned construction at this address.
While we are sad to see the drive-thru close, we are excited to focus on the other three Steve-O-Reno's locations and our espresso catering business.
We want to thank all of you for your business and support over the past years. Our incredible team and loyal customers like you are what helped shape the drive-thru into the unique place that it was.
Please help us say goodbye and celebrate the drive-thru by sharing your favourite memories on social media with the hashtag ‪#‎iDroveThru‬ .
We hope to see you at our other locations:
- Cafe / 1536 Brunswick St
Halifax Seaport Farmers Market / Open 7 days a week
Halifax Forum Farmers' Market / Open Saturdays
Thank you,
